Hello, I’m Pastor Kemp. I was ordained in 1999 at First English Lutheran Church in Platteville, WI and began serving Bethel/Bethany Lutheran Parish in Viroqua and Westby, WI where I stayed until moving to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Oshkosh, WI in 2005. I was called to serve as the Senior Pastor/Head of Staff at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau, WI in 2013, and remained there until being called to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Appleton, WI in September 2022. The Holy Spirit was definitely present in the passion and organization of the call committee, staff and leadership.
I have lived in the Fox Valley for 17 years with my wife, Ann Kunkle-Jones. We have been married for 30 years and have an adult son. My hobbies include Music, Hiking, Cooking, and Geocaching. The gifts/talents I have are music, public speaking, and fundraising.
